today's Ramsbottom festival news reveals:

The Marie Celestial commissioned in conjunction with Glastonbury Festival, it's a walking mechanical art installation and street theatre show that incorporates live, interactive aerial circus performance and music.

Which lead me to this:

The Marie Celestial is a street theatre show, upon a giant, walking Pan-Galactic Circus Beast, currently in creation in Bristol.

Pop along to the workshop to see the beast, have a mulled wine, Q&A with the artists and take part in a unique Marie Celestial flight simulator experience!

Friday 28th November 4 - 7pm.
Ruby SoHo Productions, Unit 5 Premier Industrial Estate,
BS2 0RA.

The team has until 3rd December to fulfil their Kickstarter campaign, so that they can complete the beast and produce the show. A little support goes a long, long way.

The team are offering free training in welding and metal fabrication to local young people as part of the project. Visit the Kickstarter page to find out more, get involved or support the project. Pleadges are rewarded with unique gifts from the artists, all delivered in time for Christmas!
