A friend of ours is coming Wednesday in a car to stay in a tent at CV East...

Will they be able too park with us in a car or will they have too parkin the car park?

Bearing in mind the caravan we are taking will not have the towing vehicle with it as that is just dropping us off....

You are allowed to park one vehicle beside a caravan, however you do need to show the campervan pass on entering the fields. You will need to get this to your friends after you have parked up, perhaps you could walk up to the entry point into the fields (the area where you get searched) to meet them which is not too far.

They will have to park in the carpark then meet you somewhere. We did this a couple of years ago and took our friends kit with us in the camper van and their tent too so at least they won't have to carry all their kit to you

For the vehicle to park next to you, you'll need to enter together, but if they park in the car parks, they can meet you at the CV entry point, or the Festival entrance (gate C) to then get back to your caravan. Just spread out to save their tent space before your neighbours spread out, or take their kit with you which will help them out.
