Drink

Unsure what do to about this, this will be my first T and I am travelling up to Edinburgh on wednesday. My options are getting drink in Edinburgh on the Wednesday, is there anywhere I can get cheap booze near the station? Or to use be chilled, but this seems expensive compared to what I may be able to get in Edinburgh. Don't fancy getting drink down here and taking it all up on the train as we're bringing enough stuff as it is!

There should a few off-licences or a small Tesco or Sainsburys somehwere with in walking distance from the station.Saves you the grief of carrying it up on the train.

There is a Sainsburys Metro 5 mins tops walk from train station. Come out of station onto Princes St, look left, see the big Jenners store 100/200 yards along the road. Sainsburys is just behind that at corner of St Andrew Square.

Don't know how cheap it is in comparison to other places.
