coach package tickets

Just wondering if there is any further info on getting a ticket when unable to make the coach. One of our party has to miss her coach due to unforeseen reasons and we are hoping we can get her ticket for her and meet her a day later at the gate. Some See tickets people say no way, others are more helpful.

Does anyone else have more news on this?

Just to say, even if you do manage to get her ticket, you may struggle to meet her at the gate to give her the ticket. How is she planning on getting to the festival? You need a festival ticket to get into the car parks, and many forms of public transport to the site also require you to show your ticket.

Hi,

Tickets that aren’t collected on the coach are returned to See Tickets.

However due to your circumstance if you ring See Tickets on 0844 412 4626, they may be able to arrange to have your tickets left at the box office at the festival.

Best wishes,

Glastonbury Festival

Hey guys,

Pretty much exact same thing happened me last year. I could only travel down a day later. Everything was grand. This is what happened to me/will happen to you:

-Explain the situation to any one of the contractor bus drivers at the depot. Show them your expired bus ticket. They will likely let you on for free, it's nothing to them. May have to slip them a tenner if they're arsey, but highly unlikely.

-Said contractor bus driver who doesn't really care about Seetickets policy will then hand out all the tickets on the bus before you even leave (or he may wait till you get to the rest stop halfway down). If one person in a group is missing he will give it to their mates. That's just common sense.

-If there are any no shows the driver will hand the tickets to the box office which is right beside the easily accessible bus car park. Seetickets told me last year that pedestrians would not be able to access the box office. They lied.

-When down there (regardless of whether you bussed it or otherwise) go to the box office and give your name and the time you should have been there. You will then receive your ticket and have an amazing extended weekend.

Any questions?

    • I’m struggling to stay awake for this Brazil / Morocco … that goal helps though 😀
    • I’m not Scottish but am going to try to do it. My plan is to try and get an hour sleep between games, put the alarm on and hope that’s enough to get me through!
    • Any Scots on here with any tips as to how they're going to try to stay up for the 2am match? If indeed that's the plan.
    • If it's over 30-35 degrees C, it's ok. But it does feel like people just want any opportunity to crowbar in any advert where possible.
