Hi there, its our first time to creamfields and im dead eager so wanted to ask a few things.

1) What time can you enter on the friday and whats the queuing like? Both in the car and upon arrival, is it worth going in first thing?

2) Whats the chances of securing a large area camping as there will be around 15-20 of us in a group?

3) Anything out of the ordinary... (Tent, deckchair, wellies, booze, food) that we should take to make the weekend any better/easier?

4) Im guessing the clashes will work like Prodigy/Avicii.... how they are set out on the line up poster if you get me?

5) What time do acts begin/end?

6) How does friday work.... is it like your usual silent disco or not?

7) Whats the kinda vibe like..... im guessing the dance festival tag would bring a lot of young pillpoppers about yeah haha? Not that i am interested lol

8) How much drink can you really take? Litre of vodka and a crate of stella will not last the 3 days haha!

Cheers guys

1. Can't help with that as I went on Saturday last year. Opening times etc will be posted on the website nearer the time.

2. If you want a large area for a group I'd get there early I guess. I dunno about Friday but on Saturday it was murder getting a spot even for just 5 of us! Last year they had certain camp sites closed until Saturday to make sure there was room I believe.

3. Wellies area must. Tent is duh. Booze obviously. In terms of food I think there is options for BBQ and stuff but last year we just took stuff like protein bars and high energy snack foods. If we wanted hot food there are plenty of food vans. Not cheap though. 3 quid for a poke of chips last year! Consider that it's gonna be potentially very wet, definitely muddy, and bring sensible equipment. Get a hiking rucksack if you can. Don't bring a suitcase with wheels whatever you do! Deck chairs are handy and some people like to bring speakers for listening to music at the campsite. Oh and bog roll. Bring bog roll.

4. The times won't necessarily be based on the lineup. The thing about headliner clashes is people tend to want to see them all so it's not the smartest idea but some things are unavoidable. Try to keep an open mind and prepare for the worst case scenario that you might not get to see every artist that you want to. I would think that prodigy, being a pretty aggressive brand of music, would be on at the same time as something chill like above and beyond so there is variety. Can't confirm that though just making an assumption. It's all about the crowd, the socialising, etc so you'll have fun no matter which stage you're at.

5. I think it differs each day. Last year I believe acts started at 2pm on Saturday? Maybe 3pm. Can't recall. Whereas Sunday they were supposed to start at 12 to compensate for an earlier finish Sunday night as people will be leaving Monday morning. Sunday got cancelled though. The music goes on until early hours of the morning on Saturday. Think it normally ends like midnight/1pm on the Sunday.

6. No idea. I would take it as a chance to chill out, mingle, get to know your neighbours and get in the festival mood. Make sure you save your energy for sat and Sunday. Don't want to go mental on the Friday and sleep through the main events!

7. The vibe last year was pretty decent. Overall very friendly people, lots of noisy banter, chatting with ransoms, mud fights, antics, etc. obviously you will get a few fannies about but I have to say everyone I met last year was pretty damn cool!

As for pill poppers. Well drugs are rife at any festival. It's unlikely to affect your weekend. Like I said everyone was real nice last year. That includes drug takers. Really great vibe.

Finally as for booze. Well creamfields are quite strict about their limits. As for getting any more in? Well use your imagination. They aren't going to pull your whole kit out and search every nook and cranny.

Hope you enjoy yourself and i'llmaybe see you around the campsite!

Prodigy & Avicii WILL clash as they are both headlining the stages. From memory the stages close at 11pm, with the rest of the Saturday night festivities going on in the tent arenas till 5-6am.

Entry is usually from midday on the Friday into the campsites, with the arena opening later in afternoon.

The silent disco last year was a disaster, the majority of headphones were faulty. Nobody gave a fuck & the rain belting down gave them an easy excuse.

In saying all that, I'm back on the Friday again this year for more! :D

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
