I heard that in the past bands like Franz Ferdinand and Kasabian have plkayed the friday before, wonder if anything similar could happen this year but on a smaller scale, a different band playing each site.

Is it ever announced in the program what is happening on the friday, or do V just do the weekend

Sounds like V cut out anything that is slightly popular

Ill try find where I heard someone saying bands I mentioned played on the friday

I've been going to V since 2000, and never heard of or seen a band play the Friday night.

Yeah I got it wrong apparently a DJ was throwing in songs from them bands. Shows what my tired mind remembers Sorry everyone

Alot of the sponsorship stuff & freebies always seem to be Chelmsford only.

V Fest announcement: Our House line up includes Jaguar Skills, DJ Fresh and Rudimental

What time do these sets usually happen?

Are the times given in the programme or do you have to listen to the chatter and get there at the right time?

Are they all on one night or are they over the weekend/on friday too? Thanks

I think they had some posters around the our house area with the times, I remember the enemy doing a dj set think it was about 3pm

Ahh right, so they played before their normal set. I think Rudimental will play after their normal set as on the video it said headliners and I cant see them headlining a stage this year

Yeah perhaps 8 or 9. I think Elue Goulding did one the same day as The Enemy. Do they still have the bacardi bar? They did free mojitos

on the V website there is no mention of the Bacardi bar or tent so I dont know

I am going to guess its a Rudimental DJ Set on the Friday night

I quite fancied Rudimental but since the line up tweaks it looks like they'll clash with the Vaccines.
