Wristbands

Has anyone worked out how to take the wristbands off without cutting them? I can't wear it to work, but my 11 year old, who did not get one wants to wear mine....

Handcream and lots of gentle pushing! I turned mine over first so the metallic thread didn't scratch my hand.

I walked straight into the garage and put the metal bit into the vice. Makes it easier to loosen and you can tighten it up again with some pliers.

If you don't have a vice, pliers will probably do to get it off, but I'd have someone help you as two hands would be handy (heh! handy, geddit?!)

Have managed it with a pair of pliers and a hack saw- fortunately I still do have two hands left... Which as pezzypops says quite rightly is handy!

Run it under tap to wet it that makes it a bit more stretchy then should slide off

I slide a flat bladed screwdriver down into the crimp and give it a bit of a tap with a hammer to ease the crimp out. That is enough to pull a bit more fabric through and remove easily. You may need flexible wrists to hold the screwdriver steady.

I pulled the band tight using my "wristbanded" hand and with my other hand I used a saw to cut through the metal.
