Arriving on the Thursday?

Hi, I know the gates for Glastonbury open early on Wednesday morning, and that many will arrive throughout the day. However, do many people still choose to arrive on the Thursday?

I had planned to go down on the Wednesday, but my friend accidentally booked coach tickets for Thursday! Now I'm rather worried that being one of the last to arrive, it will be difficult to find a decent spot to pitch our tent. Also fearing that I will miss out on the 'full-Glasto' experience, with this being my first one. Will I miss much? My coach gets to Glastonbury; Thursday afternoon.

You'll be fine, although some of the popular fields will be full. As for missing out, well, you'll miss a bit but not much!

Thanks for the reassurance. My main interest is the bigger stages, and they obviously don't start until Friday. I am gutted that I won't have an extra day to get around the site... Oh well.
