Leaving on Sunday evening

Hi,

Does anyone know the situation regarding leaving the car parks on Sunday evening. My girlfriend has been told (by a mate of hers) that she will have to leave about midday on Sunday as they bring the barriers down so that no one can leave after that until Monday morning??? This doesn't sound right to me, but thought I'd better check just in case.

Not true at all! We had to leave early in 2009 and we drove off site about 8/9pm Sunday night.

Pretty sure it's the reverse, they close down all incoming traffic, so as to allow more outgoing traffic.

i drove out without a glitch on sunday in 2010 after queens of the stone age was pretty empty, packed up in the morning took everything to car and was away

I'm sure I read on the official site that the quietest times to leave are between 1AM and 7AM on Monday. So it would seem it is not true that a barrier is in place.
