Blissfields 2013

Have hopefully managed to get hold of a couple of tickets to Blissfields but looking at FB/Twitter (where I've been to source tickets!) I get the impression that it attracts a very young crowd (ie under 18s mostly). I'm in my late 30s so whilst not exactly worrying about it, I'm hoping that the age is a little more diverse than it appears! Can anyone enlighten me??

I went last year and had a really good time (I'm 28 btw) there were quite a few younger people there but not so many that it was noticeably a younger crowd.

Must say it was a brilliant festival, lovely crowd, great production and loads of fun - sadly can't go this year due to attending Glastonbury and having no holiday from work, a load of my friends go every year and one of them won the leading lady competition this year as well!

Hi All.

From your on site Fire team

Young and old .we will se you there. We have had a few problems lately with the briefcase style of camping stove.

(you know the sort. flatish shape square or oblong and about the size of a large packet of corn flakes. Comes in a plastic case)

NOW if you have one of these read on

IT IS ESSENTIAL that you read and follow manufacturers instructions. With particular regard to;

Ensure canister is the right way up.

Ensure that the pan support is also the right way up.

DO NOT use TOO LARGE A PAN.

Not following the instructions can lead to an exploding stove!!!!!

So please no cooking in tents. Change canisters well away from ignition sources and other tents

have a good time

Be Safe.

Come and say hello to the Fire Team.

Paul

    • That would be perfect!
    • If the festival was on this forecast for the end of the month would really raise the excitement levels 😊😉
    • I think their best chance is to get at Brazil. I though Casemiro in particular but the entire Brazil midfield was awful for the first half of that game, and if McTominay and McGinn press and run past them they've got every chance of getting the lead. You kinda assume Vini Jr and Raphinha will do something at some point in any game, but Brazil look like they're waiting for their stars to make something happen, instead of having a team plan.   I stand by my claim before the tourney that Morocco put 3 past Scotland, which suggests to me they need to nick a draw against Brazil.
    • The dance and pop acts seem to be going down more than the rest lol. Download has turned into 90s fest of the Midlands haha, but it's all silly music no one actually likes lol.
    • It was never going to be great was it, there is comments of Mickey Mouse all over socials lol which is very similar to Glastonbury.  Someone I know from RIP watched Welcome to the Jungle and left and they went saying they've got to see GNR. It was the only day not to see out as well.
