However in the past if you found out before, how did you find out?

Word of mouth?

Social media?

Luck?

Apparently Biffy had flyers handed out in 2010 for their set in the park?

Im sure biffy had some daft little flags that people were walking around waving,

Stupid idea because half an hour later they were just litter strewn all over the floor.

Combinations of all of the above. Most of the secret gigs that go on you just have to fall upon really, although they're sometimes advertised as special guests, but there's normally hundreds of special guests billed on the line-up.
