Boris The Spider
2012 I saw: The Stone Roses Friendly Fires Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
Shootenanny!
Just out of interest, did you manage full sets of these 3? I would've loved a bit of friendly fires but my other half wouldnt risk missing any of Noel.
Anthonym93
Nah I watched full sets of Noel and the Roses. Just caught a wee bit of Friendly Fires in between. Weather was lovely so I went lay on the hill at the second stage between the big two.
Shootenanny!
Was there anyone actually at Friendly Fires? Or was everyone at Noel Gallagher. I love Friendly Fires, but couldn't miss Noel Gallagher.
daniel.k
Dont V ever think about bands having similar audiences and set them up to be different tlmes, or do they not care
Boris The Spider
I think that it's safe to say that they don't care. Just a word of warning Daniel, if you're thinking of seeing any big names in the arena, try to get there a little early as if the tent is too full they won't let you in. Unless you enjoy climbing over railings of course.
daniel.k
Yeah, Ive heard stories, not just from V, that some people have been turned away from tents because they are full. It depends who was in the Arena, if TDCC were in there I would be there but I hope ill see them anywhere they are. As long as they dont clash with Calvin Harris (which they wont) or Beyonce (which they probs wont) I get to see them, I made a deal
Boris The Spider
Its not just the headliners either, I've walked by the arena in an afternoon to see the tent full signs. Jason Derulooooooooo if I remember rightly.
daniel.k
Was the tent full of screaming girls though. I think if Olly Murs was in a tent then it would fill up quick because of mostly girls
tom taylor
Jason Derulo was awful too, well the bass was too loud for his actual singing! Speaking of him, he has just released a new song....a possibility for V?
tom taylor
Olly would get mainstage as he had a large crowd a year back
