hi i am going to download on wednesday and i am looking on the site re id what are the chances that i will get id'd for bringing alcohol into the festival iam 17 but can get away with being 18 but my mate looks 17 please help we have 8 crates n startin to panic

Doubt you'd get ID'd taking it on. Buying it on the other hand would be an issue. Good luck.

You'll be fine bringing it in, you just might not get served if you try to buy alcohol in the arena though.

I wish to express my profound disapproval. I think that it's appalling that a person of just 17yrs should even know about the evils of alcohol, let alone consider actually consuming it !

This must surely be a clear indication of how the youth of today have become corrupted by modern society with no respect of the laws of the land. Such alcohol consumption will inevitably lead to inebriation, wanton behaviour, and possibly even having fun and is to be actively discouraged !

Now when I was a teenager . . . . . . . errrr. Hmmm, . . . ah . . . well . . . .

thanks for the tips, i was wondering i have heard that theresa chance your tent may get robbed while your in the arena not takin any valubles but worrying about my ale getting nicked how true is this and any tips for keepin tent safe.

Tents could get robbed at any festival. It is no more likely to happen at Download than any other festival.

It's very unlikely your tent will be robbed, especially for alcohol, that's the one thing that most people to take too much of. Thiefs will be looking for something they can sell on or money.
