please tell me there is a decent selection of bevy at the bars? and also i heard it is cash as opposed to tokens?

I usually fill a camel pack, are they pretty strict about you taking these in as im guessing no drinks allowed in arena.. i just need to hope they don't see it?

From memory there was a lager, cider, pear cider, alcopops and wine. Sure there was ales etc around and spirits...then all the branded bars: WKD, Drambuie, Jagermeister, Bacardi that do cocktails/shots.

As to security, I got patted down every time I entered but I don't try smuggle stuff in...

I only take a small camel pack as it can be a nightmare constant going to bar if you are watching a set.

I guess if they do find it its not a far walk back to the tent to drop it off

One of the good things bout Rockness is the site is small so if you do want to go have a drink at your campsite you can leave and re-enter easily within 30 mins.

Its much better than strongbow though, bim just hoping the real ale tent is back with the proper cider and the drambuie bar better be back

TBH it's the pear one I find too sweet, well too much to continually drink but they are promoting a new apple version just now which I haven't tried so maybe that is alright.

I don't like the pear one either. It's all about the strawberry and lime one for me, mixed fruit is good too. All just taste like juice but it's a good way to ease you in. Could only manage 3/4 before moving on though, stomach couldn't handle that!

I would be buzzing if the real ale tent returned! I didn't buy any drink in the arena last year! but certainly would if there is a selection of real ale!

One of the first years there was a tequila bar that did tequila lemon/lime slush puppie things, well nice and refreshing! Would love that back!

At belladrum a few years ago they had st helier and they had a choice of 2 or 3 so maybe it will be a similar thing for kopparberg at rockness

Pear Kopperberg gives me the shits. Strawberry and Lime and Mixed Fruits are where its at!

Mind at TITP a couple of years ago they done a deal between 12 - 1.30 for a free mojito with a print out off the Bacardi website. I printed off 40 of the fuckers and they werent even checking them. Just a pity we didnt have Mojito weather for it.

that bar was amazing. i think it was there in 2008.

aye. the pear cider is a bit too sweet, i coudn't drink a lot of it.

i would rather have something like gaymers at the main bars. i could see it being quite expensive for a pint of kopparberg, and you need to drink loads of it to get drunk.
