Refused - no chance for new noise?

A while back Refused seemed to be mentioned quite a bit as a possible addition to the Reading/Leeds line-up: Various people mentioned them as a possibility for the Lockup stage and -I might be wrong, but if I remember correctly- I think they used to be listed as a rumour/strongrumour on this site. With the announcement of the LockUp bands, and no obvious high enough) spots left does it mean in I'll have to head to Download to see them in the UK? Ta,

Just before the Cribs on the NME. I'm hoping and praying it's them. it would make sense as they'd fit the day, and they could announce it once Download is over.

I hope they'll be playing at Leeds. I just don't think I could miss on a good spot for soundgarden to justify seeing refused.

However what's worse is I'd probably have to miss them at Leeds for Florence with my lass.

I'm letting my girlfriend go watch Florence and Kasabian while I spend the evening in the NME, I'm probably gonna be in trouble but it's worth it, especially if Refused play that slot!

yeah you say that. But she didn't know Arcade Fire until they were announced ha. And I really like ATR and Ash. Thought that combo was unmissable for me. Should have bitch slapped her and sent her on my way... ah well y'love, y'learn.

Well I have all the ATR albums, and most of Alec Empire's solo stuff. So I'd assume I probably would like it. Will report back.

Having said that. ATR have a french live date on August 18th. Hopefully they'll be at Reading somewhere. Saturday NME would be lovely.
