Doesnt matter, retrieved these:

  • - 0.50 l. Dreher – 580 Hungarian Forints (around 2 Euros)

  • - 0.50 l. Dreher can – 690 Hungarian Forints (around 2.40 Euros)

  • - 0.50 l. Pilsner Urquell can – 790 Hungarian Forints (around 2.70 Euros)

which according to my currency convertor app

580 forints= £1.62

690 forints- £1.93

790 forints= £2.21

Stupid question - if anyone's still out there to reply - do the spas have bars?

where can i get forints from? i tried a few places today but they have to order them in, think i might just wait till i get there seeing as the exchange rate is better out there, can i transfer money straight from my bank card onto my festival card?

We went to see the exchange man at tesco and he ordered some for us. bet you can get them over the counter at the airport - though i bet they're more expensive. i 'm sure i remember reading that you charge the festival cards with cards (if u see what i mean) - not how the currency exchange rate would work though .....

yeah i can imagine the exchange rate not being the best, but i guess your paying for the convenience, ill check out what the standard rates are and check at the airport to see how much dearer they are there, ill probs get some of my money changed then when i go into the city with my city pass ill just find one of the many exchange kiosks as they are supposed to be the best for exchange rates

I was in Budapest a couple of weeks ago, I changed some £ into Forints before I went but the exchange rate was better over there. Just remember to avoid the booths charging commission

    • €225 plus fees (as a 2026 ticketholder and with Revolut) is a crazy good deal.
    • I don't think PJ has as much broad appeal in the UK as GNR has. Rock listeners will know Alive and Jeremy so on, but which songs would a random person off the street know? With GNR you have Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O Mine and Paradise City to name a few.

    • They appear to say on their IG posts that you can combine two discounts (so yes) but not three ie you cant also claim the resident discount.
