Camper van driven by non-ticket holder

Hi I have a camper van permit in the disabled camping area due to mobility issues.

The van is owned by my parents (I cannot and am not insured to drive it). My dad will be driving the van, and my mum will be following in her car to take him home.

Will we encounter any problems doing this? Will my mum be allowed to follow us all of the way in to take my dad home? Will they be able to get back in without us to collect the van again?

Many thanks

Ok your mum will not be allowed to bring her car on site unless she has a car pass pre arranged. It's not far a walk by the looks of it anyway.

Second minor issue is that she does not have a disabled routing pass so she may have issues getting to the disabled car park.

I would suggest you stop at each check point and explain the situation so they can let her through.

As for your dad, I am not sure who that will work either as he does not have a ticket. we are issued our wrist bands in the disabled car park and I think you may struggle unless one of the guys drives with you and your dad to ensure he leaves the site as arranged.

Talk to the girls and guys at the car park and see what can be done.

Cheers.
