Does anyone have any experience camping in Oxlyers or Park Home Ground? Our group is trying to get a vague idea of a 'plan' together for when we arrive, including an idea of where we want to be camping. We will probably be arriving Weds morning with the masses: how quickly do these sites fill up?

Two weeks today will be my last day of work before the festival, can't wait! Time to make a list...

Random tip : remember to cut your finger and toe nails the night before you leave!

Park Home these days fills up fairly quickly but the edges arent too bad early afternoon. The view is stunning and its my favourite camping field at the festival.

Camped in Oxylers in 07. Pretty muddy all weekend. we were narrowly missed by some savage rivers. got a bit stampeeded after big acts on at the other stage. A bit of a pooey smell from the toilets either side. Felt 'in the mix' but fairly raucous with dance village and other stage being not always welcome alarm clocks. Wouldn't camp there again personally. My festival experience has changed over the years and I now want to be on a hill on the south side of the site. but I did have a great time there that year (probably the amount of money spent on various consumables!!) and if you are 'up for it' enough it'll be a good time had by all. Pretty sure it fills up quick.
