Drop off point

Hey folks this year we are getting a lift to the festival instead of driving and i was wondering how far are the drop off points from the entrance gates?

The Drop off point is the Bath and West Showground which is signposted as you approach the festival site and from there you get the free shuttle bus into the site.

Anyone know how easy it is to get back out to the drop off point on Friday? My sister needs to get out of the site Friday for an exam and i'm wondering how easy it'll be for her to get collected...

From the official site:

The drop and collect point will be signposted as you approach the Festival. From there, a free 24 hour bus service will take you to the Festival bus station next to Gate A.

If you're being dropped off, always do it at the drop and collect point, to avoid walking miles or getting run over in the dark, and so that you know where to get picked up from.

Local roads will be closed on Monday for traffic leaving the Festival, so those picking you up will only have access to the drop and collect point (and not the main Festival site).

So you shouldn't have a problem getting offsite but you may have to wait awhile for the shuttle depending on the queues.
