Well only 50 odd days to "ye merry knees up" it cannot have escaped any ones attention in the UK that we aint had much rain in the last couple of months.Does this fill me with dread, as sure as eggs is eggs its just sitting up there waiting till we all start enjoying ourselves leaving us walking round in aqualung and flippers, not the best attire to boogie to.So I've arranged it for all attendees in the name of Glasnost to perform a 14 day raindance from the 1st of June. There after leaving us with wall to wall sunshine till November. This dance will take place at exactly 0800 each morning and will consist of The Twist,Charleston,Ballroom,Ballet,Latin,Morris,Rumba,Paso Doble and The Waltz.

Dancing will be compulsury for all ticket holders(exceptions being pregnant, drunk, driving, forced copulation, having hay fever). The following dancing will result with your ticket being withdrawn and given to a member of the Royal family or unemployed Tory/ Lib Dem councillors.Pole, ice, belly, shuffle, barn, polka, tap and line.

I think Dad dancing should be included. As it is hilarious to watch not being a Dad I am not afflicted and can still take the P""s. :-)

Are you not worried that we do a rain dance in early June, the rain will continue in to late June? Maybe an earlier start would be in order.

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
