Coach travel

Has anybody ever booked the coach travel and then not used it and picked up their tickets from the coach pick up ? have you had trouble getting your tickets from the coach driver if you turn up on the day and tell them you dont need the coach ?

In 2007 my bestfriend had a coach ticket and I had a standard one. We got to the coach pick up and the driver had all the tickets but wasn't allowed to issue them. She got on the coach and I followed it until we got to a service station about halfway. She then went up to the driver and explained that she had no luggage on the coach (it was all in my car) and her mate (me) was in a car and could she please have her ticket. He relented after her being really nice and flirty! He gave her her ticket and off we went

I have a strange feeling I shouldn't be saying this but............it has been known for the coach drivers on departure to take a favour (blow job or a tenner!) for your tickets in hand.

Last year, our coach driver had a relaxed attitude and simply passed the wad of tickets through the bus during the journey. Don't recall our details being checked. Will probably depend of the driver on the day. Suppose if there are no problems, who cares?
