Bahn
really hoping the foos will sub-headline
mrtourette
They can't, IOW is an England exclusive plus they'd only ever headline.
jump
I wonder if anyone is going to complain that MCR are 3rd under Paul Kalkbrenner so therefore aren't big enough to headline R&L?

Englishdragon
so assuming they are split into days on the website it confirms that MCR are playing Saturday Leeds sunday Reading and Deftones are playing Friday reading Sunday Leeds. mrtourette
If that's correct then Interpol will be playing the same day as Deftones, so they'd be third or headlining the tent against Muse.

haystack
Placebo would be good but they're not doing any shows this year, Interpol seem most likely.
Reading Local
According to the foo fighters Facebook page - they are headlining on the 26th August which is the Friday....so am not sure if that will now make a difference to what days those R/L bands will be on... bennyk
Well if they're split into days on the website then it completely f**ks up what we thought.
Yellow_Fellow
guys seriously, it's reverse alphabetical. it isn't split.
k1n60fthew0rld
Would it be reasonable to suggest that the day splits for Rock en Seine haven't been confirmed because of the R+L announcement? I can't see a festival that wouldn't make those details clear as they were announced, it's no extra effort to arrange them properly as opposed to reverse alphabetical in fact I'd say the latter is more difficult
Joseph92
The closer it gets, the more I'm thinking MCR are not actually gonna play. Then we are all going to laugh at how we had been completely fooled and what a great distraction they had been to the actual headliner (Blur) - ideal world. mrtourette
Not really, seen as thought MCR are playing Rock en Seine on the Friday (if it's split into 3 days) and then they can still play Leeds Saturday, Reading sunday like they are rumoured to.
