Reading Hotels

OK I've done the war zone thing and this year it's a hotel for me.

any suggestions for hotels anyone?

How about the best exits and entrances to the site?

Anyone know of a safe carpark in Reading as I dont want to be queueing to get out the festy one on Monday?

IMO camping is part of the festival experience. It wouldn't be the same if you were staying in a hotel.

If you're staying in a hotel why would you be trying to get out of the festival car park on the Monday morning?

Anyway there's a Holiday Inn and a Crowne Plaza on the same road as the site (Richfield Avenue) or a Travelodge in town and a Quality Inn on Oxford Road (both abut 20 mins walk to the site). There are several B&B's close to the site on Caversham Road but I'm not sure what the parking there is like.

If you going to be staying in a hotel over the festival weekend, make sure you book as early as possible. As im sure you can imagine they get booked up very quickly.
