Hey Dudes,

Theres a group of 5 of us, going to creamfields for the first time!! We're from Sunderland and wanting to know what time we should be arriving for.

We're wanting a decent spot for our tent!

I know the car park opens at 7 and we're driving down,, should we be getting there for the car park opening??

Whats your views??

Any info would be appreciated as we cant agree on what time we should be leaviing!! We are apporx 3 hours away,, and are bound to get lost!!

Thanks

Hi mate,

speaking from last years experience i will be getting there for bout 9am or earlier. We arrived about 12pm last year and it took us 2 hours to get to the car park as the Q's were terrible. I would say the earlier the better to avoid the long Q's but would still expect to Q early in the morning as alot of people are going to have the same idea! Hope this helps you guys!

Roll on Creamfields ;)

alright, im goin from Durham and did last year too, we set off at 7:30 last year in a minibus and had 1 break stop, when u get close to daresbury its just pure traffic jams with barely crawling traffic, so that takes quite a while to get thru, all-in-all we didnt get to the car pars till 12ish and didnt get to the campsite till bout 1 - half 1, this year were going on the friday to avoid all that hassle cos after all that time on the road ya get annoyed nd just wanna get ya tent up nd chill lol, so if i were u id try think about tryin to go on the friday but if not then early saturday mornin (7:00 - 7:30 should be alright if ur in a car) and dont have a long break if u do have 1 =)

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
