Like others say its great when and only when they can play - those that can't need to be aware that others probably can and will come over and make them look stupid. Did this to some bloke one year who was warbling out a terrible rendition of The Scientist and Time of Your Life trying to chat up one of my friends... guy had a face like a smacked backside when I showed him what his cheap plank could do - he thought he was the next Eddie Van Halen!

Also check with your neighbours that they are OK with it as some people might get hacked off, invite them round and really its a Friday night thing. Don't take an expensive acoustic either as some scanger might nick it.

Haha, yeah, Foo Fighters!

I think everlong, design for life and fade in/out are about the only songs I know in dropped D. Design for life is too complicated for playing in the dark after several beers, and fade in/out is shit!

i wouldnt even want to take my guitar for fear of it getting damaged or even stolen, plus its just another thing to carry and takes up more valuable room in the tent!

We have a couple of human juke boxes with us though and some really talented people, who wont hand over their guitars to a 2 chord Tony so it a must for us, we also have irish drums
