Taking Baby?

I'm planning on taking my 9.5month old (providing it doesn't rain) and sitting right at the back out of the way and will be waiting for crowds to leave at the end of the festival etc before trying to get out. My lo loves music and has already been to a festival and is unfazed, enjoys the fuss and people watching. I've not been to Sonnisphere before. Do you think it would be inapproriate for me to bring him?

My first time this year - so no advice but just thinking of all the festivals to take your kid to you want to take them to one with a stage at every corner of an arena, and bars in between full of metal heads, rather than one a little more geared up for children. There's no kids area at Sonisphere, and the arena looks the size of Reading, would you be camping? A screaming kid in the campsite might not go down to well.

No not camping not for this type of festival...Glastonbury yeah. Reading size you say? Thats not big enough to not be crowded. I think me and oh will go on our own on the Friday and make a decision after that. I've always found that metal heads are pretty decent.I've been to Download, Ozzfest, Tattoo the Planet etc and people are generaly ok as long as you are not in the pit.
