Booze

The last time I attended the SSW in '06, I had a great time seeing brilliant bands like Brakes, Elbow and ummmm, I can't remember any more...(Coldcut perhaps?), and carrying round my own supply of warm lager in a plastic tesco bag.

Will it again be the case in 2010; Are you still allowed to carry your own booze into the main festival site?

I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere yet, but that has certainly always been the case over the 7 years I've been going.

I do hope that things haven't changed!

Just got my ticket First time i've been since 2006 so well over due a visit.Glad to hear no probs bringing booze in still which is complete opposite to Secret Garden Party which I went to last weekend.Probably the worst festival ever for booze checks, really strict and over the top about it.
