No longer a Glastovirgin?

Wow! My first Glastonbury was amazing! I went with a great bunch of people, 2 of which were also Glasto virgins.

I previously put a thread on here asking what all the fuss was about and now I totally understand! I found the green field area the most interesting part. There was so many random things to see and do there and I loved it. I especially loved the healing field.

The Tiny Tea was a highlight for me and having a solar powered shower was a great experience. I thought that it was a bit too hot though and at some points I felt like I couldn't take anymore! You're got to love the Glastonbury water! The heat meant that I didn't see some bands because I couldn't bare it. I stayed at my tent at some points because there was no shade at the stages..

My twin sister (who goes to Glastonbury nearly every year) tried to explain to me what Glasto is like but I didn't believe her. I can now safely say that I know what she was talking about. It's a little world inside the big world.

Thank you Glastonbury for such an amazing experience :-)

My first one and it was long overdue.

Plenty of friends have been before, and they'd been telling me constantly how special it is, and that it is life-changing.

I now know why Glastonbury means so much to so many people, because I am now one of those people. I was completely blown away by the whole experience, I felt wave after wave of euphoria washing over me. The first time I've been to a music festival and not felt the need to get rat-arsed. I simply didn't need to at Glasto. The high from being there alone is impossible to create artificially.

I'll never miss another one if I can help it.

My girlfriends first, and my first for 15 years! It felt like my first time too. I've always missed out in recent years due to not being in the country at the time with my job but because it was the 40th and everything this year I made a point of being there. (even turned down 2 contracts to make it)

The love is well and truly rekindled and I'll definately be turning down work to be there next yeat too!

we have rule with our group , 3 stripes (times) and your a veteran .

only after you have been 3 times can you safley say that you have seen glastonbury, that includes the weather!

so get in training now for next years tour of duty soldiers.

My mate and gf came for the first time this year. By Saturday my mate was already planning what we're doing next year Gf thought after feeling ill on Friday that it wasn't for her but she came round on Saturday and I expect she'll come again next year.
