Pasta and pot noodle are fine if you have some way of heating up hot water. Personally I wouldn't trust myself to do this in the morning with a hangover!

I always bring some food with me to the festival to keep costs down. Advise cold pop tarts in the morning as they are filling and the sugar rush wakes you up. Apples to get your fruit and some cereal bars to pop in your bag during the day. Also consider buying Haribo to give you a sugar high if you end up crashing. I normally then try to buy an evening meal.

Remember at Glastonbury you aren't obliged to buy beer, so take a bag that you can stuff plenty of cans into to take round with you.

Finally - don'y buy chocolate (it will just melt) and bananas (they will turn into mush)!

So I am taking the below:

Pot Noodles

Chocolate biscuits (they wont last long enough to melt!)

More biscuits ... shortbread (mmm...)

Coffee Bags (they are the future you know)

Tea Bags

Sugar

Dates

Snack Bars (Corfresh)

To facilitate some of the above I am taking a campingaz C206 stove with gas, and a nice whistling kettle.

Dunk the biscuits in the coffee, and off i go .. oh and some brandy for the coffee too :P

Cake, biscuits, tinned fish and meat, bread, honey, sliced cheese, bean salads - stuff with protein in it keeps you going - don't just rely on carbs.

But if you are bringing cooking stuff (which is always a mare if you ask me) then pasta, pesto and cheese and peperami type stuff to go with it.

Also mini packets of cereal - can buy mike on site, just pour milk straight into the packets and eat with a spoon.

But £10 a day would do you for food inside, so check you won't be wasting more than that on bringing food and cooking stuff.

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
    • Out of interest keep seeing messages saying last 12 hours etc… to buy you full weekend tickets.  Whats that about? Do they take them off sale early?
