how busy does the drop off and collect point get?

Basically my Dad (quite shockingly) agreed to take myself, my boyfriend and my two friends down to the festival site on Wednesday morning (which is a week away, INCASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW!!!!11oneone).

He's a bit of a typical grumpy Dad, always complaining and always in a bad mood. As the week draws closer, I'm getting a bit worried about how he'll react to the traffic as you approach the festie, I went last year (with people who parked in the car park), we left at 6am and managed to get IN THE SITE at around three.

I really want to watch the football at 3pm, so we're setting off at 5am from N. Wiltshire (google it).

How busy/bad does the traffic get at the drop off point, where even IS the drop off point?! I've tried checking the website, but it's all incredibly vauge..

Drop off point is at the Bath and West Showground, and then its free shuttle buses into the site - no dropping off at the festival gates apparently

bloody hell, no offence to your answer lord stradmor but i thought more people would be able to help!!

true, true. I thought it a bit sluggish an' all.

But working on the B&W premise it don't really matter how early you get there, as it will all be in the hands of some coffee fuelled stewards and local driving a worn out school bus. Get there as early as poss, I guess...

we're leaving at 5am, it only took two hours to get to the site last year (the extra 3 hours being traffic) so if we're just doing to the bath and wells showground it won't be too bad!!!
