beer problem...

how the hell do you guys keep beer before glastonbury... its boggling my head, i bought 6 cases (cashed in on tesco's 3 for 20 deal) last week, and im down to 2... now i need to get a "re-up" (anybody who has watched the wire knows what i mean)

any tips/tricks on keeping alcohol from getting consumed? i understand tesco's deal finishes on the 16th, so i need to get more soon and keep it safe for a week...

(i know the title of the thread looks like im an alcoholic, but i promise you im not well at glastonbury i could probably qualify to be one)

haha id be exactly the same mate, thats why I haven't got any supplies yet-will get them the Monday before, so I dont have a chance to drink them

Do what I do, buy them on the day before or the day you go. Simples. I don't understand people who buy things like booze months before the fest - seems a bit over-keen! And also I lurve my cider so it simply wouldn't stay in the house, it'd be down my neck quick-sharp!

Seriously?! Tesco take every opportunity to encourage people to buy more beer. When one offer ends, another will begin and do you really think that they'll have no scarily cheep beer offers on during the world cup?!!

i can't be trusted with my booze hoard either. i don't have a car so getting crates is a pain for me. i give my trustworthy car-owning mate my money and send her to the shops for me. she keeps custody until we leave.

I think it's the same deal mate. 2 crates for 16 quid or 3 for 20. I bought 3 crates of export a couple of weeks back and haven't touched them. Last year when I was in Uni did the same thing and my whole house didn't drink a single can. It's not hard. Just walk the nearest shop and buy booze if you want to drink.

I could be wrong but aren't the Tesco's ones for 15 cans? I got two crates of 24 in Sainsburys for £20 yesterday. Sadly we have consumed some of them so can't help the op with the original question!

If you have brought beer in advance you need to test it regularly to make sure it hasn't gone off.
