If your talking about the handwarmers I think you are, then they're pretty good. You can use them once, then put them in a pan of boiling water to set them up for another use.

However, I don't see that they're worth it for Glastonbury. Boiling them would be a pain in the arse on a camp stove, and it's just not going to be that cold. I use them when I'm watching football matches at Leamington's windblown New Windmill Ground in near freezing conditions in January. However cold it gets at Glasto, putting your hands in your pockets will suffice.

Unless you've got some sort of circulatory problem, in which case I guess you'd know about handwarmers already.

Since a freezing incident at Download a few years ago (yes in June) when it hailed, I always take a lot of precautions for coldness, being over tired and wasted is a recipe for feeling the cold. I take the handwarmers which seem like little bags of sand and you shake them to activate them, pop them under the cuffs of my jumper or at the bottom of my sleeping bag and instant warm up!

funny how you have to master holding the door with one hand to keep yourself A. upright :)B. off the toilet seat, whilst using the spare hand to do everything else including hold clothing up, pull clothing down, get tissues....

Only one snag with the s-hook - so many people now know about the fact that many valuable items - bags, coats full of wallets, purses, cameras, drugs etc etc are going to be hanging off them, that scrotey individuals may be looking out for the tell tale hook over the door, and when they reach up and grab the aforesaid goodies, the rightful owner will literally be caught with their trousers down.

I'd suggest hook should be hung from the cubicle wall, rather than door.

Just a thought.

Im taking one of these this year, fill it up saves wandering round with those crappy paper pint cups and spilling a whole load of money in the process.

2008 i went the queens head bought 8 pts. Carried them back to the tent trying my best not to spill any.

Put them on the floor carefully, and they tipped over.. all of them.

That was an expensive round.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
