Not long now so I thought I would revive the old metcheck weather thread. Here is a link for metcheck website, couldnt get a specific one up for seaclose park but got the IOW, and seen as its not a very big place im sure the weather will be pretty much the same all over!

High pressure builds to provide a drier spell

The northwesterly flow is expected to decline as high pressure builds from the west. Although still unsettled at first in northern and eastern parts, all areas are expected to become drier and more settled.

Near average temperatures are expected to rise above average in the south. rainfall will be below average although close to it in the north and east early in the period.

I walked across part of the Seaclose site last night (Tuesday 25 May). Ground is rock hard. It will take quite a bit of heavy rain to create problems. Entry arches from campsite already being positioned - I liked the "All the Young Dudes" arch!

Now showing sun friday, cloudy and rainy sat and sun. Its IOW surely its gotta be sunny! The island is so small and because of its location the weather can change from hour to hour so dont rely too much on this link.

Wet on friday at the moment....

It'll take a fair bit of rain to really clog the ground up though, and thankfully unlike other festivals a lot of the toilets are hardstanding and have road acess to be emptied!

Aahhh...that sucks! We don't want rain when we're putting the tents up! Mind you, its changed every day for about the last two weeks...

To be honest, it won't impact on my plans in the slightest...only ever take t-shirts and trainers!
