If you're that concerned about denying someone else you could tell GF that she won't be going, they could cancel the ticket and give it to a performer/worker/guest.

is it too late to contact See and tell them you need a refund on one ticket, still got just under 5 weeks to go, they might not have printed yet. Last year I bought tickets for us two 5 weeks before and it wasn't on resale. worth giving them a ring.

Its a shame she is missing out tho, it took me years to convince my husband he would love it and now he raves more about it than me

Why do you have to do anything?

You got her the ticket, she has paid up...its on her to get things sorted. Sounds like a lame excuse that she can go but she is willing to give up the ticket and £200 just because her boyfriend isn't going.

The reason for my rant is that she has prevented someone else a legitimate ticket because of her bad planning and I have experienced this before with a couple of my friends who have let me down last minute.

In my view I would say something along the lines of, its your ticket, do what you wish with it but I have done my bit so its now on you!!!
