I am ashamed to say I dont know a thing about this band but saw them supporting doves last week and through my drunekn haze thought they were great.

I now notice they are playing glasto, in the queens head.

Any fans here? Are they good on record? Any particular recommendations/trivia/amusing stories about the band anyone wants to share?

Love Cherry Ghost, great album, 2nd due out soon. I Plan to catch them

(all being well) after the Foals before wandering over to the Park for Midlake.

Best Addition to the bill for weeks....that may not be saying much for some people :-)

Neither their site or myspace page mention Glastonbury (nor are they playing any other gigs in June) - however they're on the Glasto site's lineup. Hopefully they'll fit in between The National and Editors. If the QH times are staggered later than the other stages they'll no doubt clash with Editors though.

Wasn't sure if the album was up to the standard of Dead Man's Suit and Mathematics at first - it's quite a strange mix of slow, serious tunes and a few more upbeat ones. Got into it eventually though and got it off ebay for 99p! Their site has only has a homepage at the moment but if you submit your email address they'll send you an mp3. It sounds rather good.

    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.

    • Robbie Williams would fit with the current state of the legend’s slot, and he’d bring the house down.
