Was she? About what? She just wanted to give us all money so we spent it - but if we don't actually want to buy anything that policy hits dead end. -
any idea how long they take to respond as i’ve heard nothing yet

Jesus, yeah there doesn't half seem to be a lot of moaning everywhere you look on social media - a good reminder if any that it's a good thing to avoid in general as it'll only bring your happiness down! Our first ever Download this weekend too and my wife and I had a great time. Lineup-wise I think we'll be lucky to ever find another festival that caters to our tastes quite so well. QOTSA are my favourite band (and I think Friday was the 12th time I've seen them), but credit where it's due I think Fall Out Boy stole the show this year. Amazing performance from them, I've never really been a fan but that's made me want to go back and check out some of their albums. Most complaints I've seen really seem to come down to the weather? Yeah it was a bit of a shitshow in that regard, but it's thousands of people in a confined space in a field over 3 days, I'm not really sure what else the organisers could have done. I only wore wellies for Saturday and Sunday and was pretty much fine. My only real gripe was that it was a terrible decision to put Wheatus and Busted on back-to-back in that tiny tent on Friday. I was hoping to catch the first half of Busted before heading over to the main stage for QOTSA but in the end I gave up as soon as Wheatus finished as it just wasn't enjoyable to be constantly barged past by people looking for space that doesn't exist. That's not just a Download problem though, the exact same thing happened for The Streets at Glastonbury a few years back - having anyone remotely big playing in a tent just doesn't work. But yeah, lineup permitting we'd definitely go back next year!

It will probably be moved to the Sunday, which doesn’t help either! -
I was at Richard Hawley last week and we remarked on how few people were filming for any length of time, just a quick photo or video for less than half a song and that was it.
