in my second year trying to do a business degree. - so i guess it will take me another 7 years ish

really hard giving up a lot of spare time, but its so worthwhile

I'll have gained an open degree by June, so was just wondering how useful it is for finding work? Do employees see it as inferior to a named degree? What sort of work have you done since getting the degree?

I started the Geology course back in 07 but Glastonbury 2007 kind of took over my life and not being that great at hone study and self discipline it fell by the wayside as my Glasto obsession took over my life.

It was a great course but I soon realised that I need to be IN a class if I am going to learn anything. Shame really. I didnt get on with the distance learning thing at all.

But Glasto 2007 was well worth concentrating hard on...was a blinder!

I'm the same as you, I get distracted far too easily to concentrate properly.

It's a fantastic institution and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I would like to give distance learning another try, though. Having a steady income does have it's perks - like the ability to go to Glasto

I'll definitely give consideration to an OU course in the future.
