The Tor

had reason to drive past juntion 23 today and having glimpsed the hallowed hill and tower inevitably was longing to turn off and 'get thee to glastonbury'

just cant fkn wait for the summer now just hope nobody has to drive past there every day

I'll be heading off to Somerset for Easter (my Dad live's there), and as I'll be the one driving I think I may take myself on a little detour, Glastonbury style

We drive to Glasto down the M5 and there's always a tingle of excitement when the Tor comes into sight. Then the real tingle at the first glimpse of the festival site itself.

It reminds me of being a little kid and going on holiday in the car when there's a competition to be the first person to catch a glimpse of the sea.

I drive that particular stretch of the M5 regularly and always disappointed when you can't see it

due to another cold, rainy day.

I feel a Glastonbury visit coming on.
