They're tweeting ticket availability @vfestival.

There are still Chelmsford Weekend camping tickets (in the yellow campsite) still available. http://######/9sca7c

Earlybird Chelmsford Weekend camping tickets (in red campsite) are now sold out and Chelmsford Weekend (non-camping) are also sold out.

seetickets is a joke.

was looking for non-camping weekend tickets, got the page about 9:54am... waited 20 minutes and by the time I was there they were sold out.

I'm guessing the allocation for non-camping tickets would have been lower than the camping tickets?

Is there not a limit of 4 per transaction?

If I bought 3 yellow, would anyone want to swap them for 3 red??

In previous years if you over ordered (sure max is always 4), they cancel those over the limit. Happened to my brother. Not trying to worry you, but get it checked out ASAP to ensure you dont miss out.

WOHOO

"6 VIRGIN WEEKEND & CAMPING YELLOW ticket(s)

1 CAR PARKING PASS ticket(s)

for V FESTIVAL 2010 "!

Bit lame that it doesnt detail "Chelsford", but no worries. I just hope/presume there won't be a problem for people booking 6 rather than 4 and the ticket gods cancelling the orders outright! Roll on August!!

    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
    • Ive always had a lot of time for the mighty Shots, a pal of mine used to commentate on their games for Sussex Counties radio and he'd sneak me into the ground for midweek games, and we'd even nick a tea and a plate of sandwiches. This is back in the George Borg days, so um . . a little while ago now
    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.
