'dirtybird' - A fake German porn star, two brothers, their room mate, the new girl, and a bunch of good for nothings that together managed to put a smile on the face of dance music.

The very first dirtybird record was released in January 2005. Since then Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Christian Martin, J Phlip & Worthy have been all around the world DJ-ing and spreading the gospel of their dirty San Francisco bass. On Friday, February 5th they all come together to celebrate the label's 5th birthday. This one is going to be bigger and better than ever before so we hope to see you there.

      So who's got a good rain dance in the locker, then? Now we're in August the weather watchers can come out of hiding.    Already having flashbacks to last year (the dust cloud of doom at the crossroads by the Courtyard entrance).   Also got to be looking sketchy for the fire/fireworks on the Sunday. Might be a controversial opinion but wouldn't mind it - the fencing annoyance isn't worth the 10 mins of 'oooohhh, aaahhhh', plus the raining of hot embers last year!

      I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
