I heat beans and sasuages in a tin up on my stove then put some bacon and pitta breads on the bbq yum yum

so im gonna be honest as far as camping food goes I am an utter novice, which is why i made this thread in 1st place, ANYWAY im gonna take a cool box and im gonna throw some bacon and sausages into the mix but how long is the cool box gonna fulfill its job criteria and keep my food in an edible state?

I dont keep any meat any longer than saturday morning. Saying that my fellow campers at glastonbury kept it the whole 6 days n were fine eating it, personally i wouldnt risk it but its up 2 u really!

Best hangover cure in the world is ice cold coke. Works a treat.

At festivals, I try to keep my alcohol levels at a point where I am never sober enough to have a hangover until Monday. When my head has payback day!! Pick up a maccy's on the way home and spend all day mooching on the sofa with cream cakes!! Sugar is key

Last year me and a couple of mates couldn't be arsed with cooking anything so we had a walk down and had a beut full breakfast for about £6.

It was just what was needed - I'm not taking any breakfast food this year and will be going back there each mornin!

I freeze capri sun juice pouches and use them as ice packs, keeps my bacon and sausage fresh till sunday and then we can drink them with VODKA , No ice packs for me to carry back to the car
