I'm the same as Jules . . . cowboy boots are the way forward . . . I wear them with summery flowery dresses, beads and shades if it's hot . . . and leggings, demin minis, tshirt with a casual jacket if it's cold . . . with the shades of course . . . always got to wear shades at V . . . whatever the weather!

Don't forget your foldaway waterproof jacket though, just in case . . . Primark are selling lime green and pink ones cheap as chips!

So, this is my second festival ever, second time at V and remember from last year there seemed to be a little bit of Festival fashion going on.

What is the usual festival wear everyone goes with?

I don't wish to jinx the weather BUT if the weather reports are correct and we don't get rain, what would be a good choice of footwear other than wellies. I assumed it would pee with rain so was thinking about what to wear with wellies but if its 90degrees (!!!!) then another footwear option might come in handy! Or do I just stick with wellies and shorts?! :(:(

Mmmm I wouldn't wear flip flops. You feet get so dirty.

Went to wireless and my friends feet were BLACK. Ok for a day but not for a weekend.

Its going to rain on Thursday so if your setting up on the Friday wellies might be needed. I have always worn wellies and never really needed them... a pair of Converse would have been ok.

This year I'm going Glam on the Saturday. Leggings, vest and a statement cardie from topshop with little black boots. Sunday I'm head to toe Union Jack (You wont miss me) LOL and of course shades and a hat ;-)

Wellies all the time, even if it's baking hot sun - you can walk around all day not worrying what you're stepping on!!!

shorts and leggings, long t-shirts, little cardigan, sweatshirt for back at the tent - packable rain mac, long socks to go with wellies, they do start rubbing after a while! hat, usually end up buying another one anyway!!

SUNGLASSES

across the body bag for during the day to put essentials in - like impulse to spray in the toilets before entering!!!!!!

    • Was volunteering at the Women’s Cricket World Cup at Southampton yesterday. Was great fun.
    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
