That's a big loss but can't be helped. They were a mini highlight for me at T in the Park and given the amount of crowd surfing the band indulged in, I'm thinking it was maybe a matter of time before a wee injury!!!

Will we get a substitute for the Hothouse stage? Any suggestions at short notice?

Your probably right, An injury like that was inevitably going to happen soon with all their crazy on stage antics!

I think Copy Haho would be a decent replacement, their free on the 7th and are from Stonehaven so its not too far to travel.

We Were Promised Jetpacks or The Twilight Sad would be good shouts aswell as both are free on the 7th and both don't have to travel too far.

Bombay Bicycle Club would be a good shout - maybe getting them up from London could be an issue (and a cost!!).

Maybe Luva Anna from Dundee - great live and they know the set up having played Seedlings a few years ago. Could juggle some stages - moving Sergeant onto the bigger stage.

This time next week we'd be getting ready for Dananananackroyd, but it's not to be. :)

would be cool if they somehow managed to pull a great surprise replacement out of the bag at the last minute, but folk's ideas of 'great' varies widely so we'll see, i'm pretty happy with what's on offer already so if they don't manage to get anyone then meh, so what!

Luva would definately be a good shout though, was at their excellent last gig in the doghouse last friday before it shuts down forever  took a vid of the set closer, angry fat bouncer, the tuba chant at about 3:40 was legendary!!

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
