my mates bought 2 tickets off ebay for £250 after bidding!

the girl said she's going on holiday now or something, they were the pre sale ones last year, we've got the see tickets tracker as well...

or do you think its dodgy and should wait till general sale on saturday again?!

cheers

Well if you definitely definitely want tickets and can afford to, buy them on saturday.

Worst case scenario you have 2 extra tickets that you can flog at the fest. Best case scenario, the girl f**ks you about. So you f**k her about and get your money back.

You could ask her to update the delivery address to yours.

Assuming seetickets haven't dispatched the tickets already (unlikely!!!) she'll have to fill in this form: http://www.seetickets.com/see/content_change_address.asp

Once she's done that See will dispatch the tickets to your address (with her name on the envelope, you can't change that). Makes everything a whole lot easier for her and you.

This only works if the entire original order is now going to you - ie she purchased 2 tickets and is selling 2 tickets to you. If she purchased 3 tickets, sold two to you and gave one to Bill Oddie it won't work as all 3 will be dispatched to you.

I don't know why more people don't do this when buying tickets - takes the leg work, expense and risk out of re-sending the tickets on to the buyer.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
