trailer tents ?

As much as i enjoyed the festival this year i don't want to have to carry all the camping gear for miles again, even though i used a sack truck, pushing it for miles in the wet on Thursday night was a real pain and i won't be doing it again. If i can afford it i will look for a campervan, but i also have the idea of a trailer tent, are these allowed in say the caravan field, a caravan is no good as my car is to small to tow one,but a purpose built trailer tent similar to one of the conway models would be ok,and a cheaper alternative to a campervan. Has anyone took one before and where did the allow you to park it.

I did the sack barrow thing in 2007 and nearly killed myself getting out with wet tend and 10,000 clumps of sticky mud on every part of barrow, boots and clothing.

Wimped out and borrowed a mates caravan this year and had an awesome festi... Neighbour had a seriously big motorhome and offered use of the roof for photos on the wednesday night - with the result that I have some very special festival sunset shots.

Not something you would get in a tent.

Best decision I ever made...

They let in any trailer tent. Mine has a built in sink, my sister's doesn't, but you can't tell from the outside. My sisters is a factory made trailer tent, and that's about all they are interested in. You won't get in with a tent packed in a trailer, but any trailer tent will be fine. But if you can get one with its own toilet that's a real bonus!!

Hi there, I have also been in a trailer tent so yes is the answer. We bought one last year just for Glastonbury and it served us well, unfortunately we couldnt take it this year as we have moved to abroad and we left it in the Uk in my Mums garage. Yes we could have gone and got it but we now dont have a tow bar. If anyone is interested in buying it and can get to West Sussex for pick up we only want £200 for it. Let me know folks :):D
