I didn't go...

Unfortunately after getting tickets in the re-sale, I was still unable to attend so sent tickets back for a refund - one of you lucky people got them.

Until the festival started and I was watching the highlights on the TV, I didn't actually realise how much I actually wanted to be there, in fact, needed to be there. Even when they were reporting heavy rain on the TV on Thursday morning, I still wanted to be there so much. From what I have read and seen the festival this year, seemed to go down well. OK there were some problems, as people have pointed out, but it was still amazing to most of you I'm sure.

The sun, the rain, the mud, the bands, the green fields, the stone circle, the food, the cider, the wait in the car park at the end, the dancing, the silent disco, the camping, the first beer, Trash City, the toilets, the camp fires, the talking to strangers, the market stalls, the new bits, the randomness, the fancy dress, the rumours, the tributes, the green police, the tractors, the park etc etc :D:D

I miss it all... it was hell not being there and I will do everything in my power not to miss another.

I guess what I am trying to say is, if you didn't enjoy it (as some people have pointed out), then don't go next year and watch it on the TV - you will see how special it is and believe me, you'll NEVER want to miss another!

Exactly where my husband and I were at last year. We couldn't go as my daughter was only a couple of months old and we just didn't have the balls to risk it after the mudbath of 2007.

We watched it on the telly and yeah mate, we totally get you, it's devestating watching it on TV when you really want to be there. Our daughter was (and is) a total joy, but we just love our music and festivals, so we took her with us this year.

Roll on next year, looking forward to it already.
