Sell me a band I should absolutely go and see

I am gonna have to suggest Biggles' Wartime Band. They are real Glastonbury regulars. A complete novelty act, but loads of fun (especially the between song banter) on a sunny Thursday afternoon. I recommend you give them a look and I guarantee you'll leave with a smile on your face

The Bays, in the Glade -

I saw them for the first time a few weeks ago, and they were nothing short of incredible - the whole set was non stop, and halfway through the keyboards and the samplers died for three minutes and the bassist and drummer kept things on the boil brilliantly, without missing a beat.

I'm sure this has been done before, but rather than just have a thread with a massive list of names which I'm not going to remember, I'd rather people came in here and wrote about a bit about the band, mentioned when/where they're on, and perhaps linked a video of them.

I shall start.

I'm sure a lot of you know about them, but my band is British Sea Power. They're on Friday at Avalon, and, unless you have your heart set on seeing Neil Young, I would highly recommend seeing. One of my favourite bands, have written two of my favourite albums ever, and so, so good live.

I'll do another two a bit later. My lunch is ready.

If you love dance music (or even if you don't) check out 2 many DJ's I love dance Music and these guys have been resposible for my favorite set - at Creamfields after Prodigy about 3 or 4 years ago!

Here's a video of them live at The Astoria - playing a tune called "Train Of Thought".

They're on at 6-00 pm Friday on The Tadpole Stage in The Geen Futures Field and again at 6-00 pm on Saturay and Sunday on The Mandala Stage - (also in The Green Futures Field).
