Out of interest has anyone received tipi camping tickets yet ?

I enquired and was given a quote of £400 by the official Glastonbury office, then when it came to ticket day and they were doubled in price I didn't get one out of principle. Pretty harsh I thought.

A mate of mine spoke to See yesterday and apparently Tipi tickets will be sent out either later this week or next week.

I understand my friends haven't received their tipi ticket yet but they're not concerned as they have an email from the people who organise the tipis giving them information on what to expect etc and so are clearly expected. The email seems to suggest there is some kind of 'booking in' system so perhaps that's when you get you ticket??

Does anyone know if the tipi's we get are the 18ft ones? Does 18ft mean the floorspace is 18ft diameter?

Anyone on here stayed in one before?

I guess I must have missed it in my spam. It's long deleted now, so can someone give me a rough idea of what it said? Are we expecting any sort of ticket in the post, or is it a case of turning up and signing in?

I just called SEE and they seem a little confused. They said tickets were still being printed and would be sent out "in the next week or so" I explained when glastonbury festival gates opened and he said "um.. OK". He then suggested he could hold the tickets at the box office for collection... when I asked where on site the box office was he said "at the entrance" so I explained how there there "several" entrances to glastonbury he said it was "clearly marked"... hmmm...

I might email Hearthworks and see what they say.. might get some sense out of them ;-)

Its 6 people per tipi. I think they've all sold out now tho.
