Anyone ever had any experience or thoughts of getting a power monkey and takin it to glastonbury?

iv got a power monkey explorer - it's wicked if you charge it at home and use it as a mobile charger, but using the solar panel in this country really won't get you anywhere - you need proper intense sunlight for it to work, and even then it takes much longer than charging stuff off a mains plug.

It's good, but it's an expensive piece of kit. It's great for travelling, but for infrequent use, ie. festivals etc, its probly cheaper to just buy spare batteries for whatever gadget.

I've got a very similar solar thing from PowerGuy, it's really good, and the solar panel is pretty effective, even in England. But no need to worry about that, Glastonbury is going to be a scortcher
