Sincere apologizes there.....

as the handbook says "Mrs Clarke is entitled to her e" hence the apology... the least i can do is get your name right.

its been a day of mistakes for me........... managed to annoy a whole thread with my idiotic repetition, got a gender of a poster wrong and now mis-spelling a name......... I either need sleep or a training course

oh the hilarity.

who CARES if one person advertises something *if it's glasto related* some people obviously have far too much time on their hands if they feel the need to get picky with this.

EDIT: im a promoter and advertise my events on relevant forums, and if you've got a problem with then....f off basically. she advertised a glastonbury auction on a glastonbury forum! shock horror!

I started a fight! Ooh, that's the first time I've ever done that. I'm normally such a fluffy bunny. Honest!

THANK YOU lofichic for your brill research - I'm glad you were able to confirm my instincts. I don't mind blatant plugging, it's the dishonesty of "ooh, I "just found" this site" that gets me, hence my rather snarky opener.

    • Am a relative amateur in the ticket/tech shenanigans and not part of a large group etc. but personally preferred the F5 bashing approach and got through twice in recent yrs (plenty when didn't, mind) - 2023 but it crashed on me at the final hurdle and then again in 2024 where I held my nerve when it crashed again and managed to get.  Think now I am committed to volunteering if doing festivals as that's close to my heart, so happy to help others when the time comes round.   The most impressive I've seen was bus sales in 2022 when 2 mates casually bagged tickets while in San Sebastian, on a phone inside the stadium during a Real Sociedad v Man Utd game!
    • I wouldn’t be surprised if it was £425.  If I recall there was a significant jump about 10 years ago and with the prices of gigs significantly inflating in the last couple of years I can see another big jump coming.
    • I think they are just sold out ..... I find it highly unlikely that the entire arena wouldn't go on sale for a band the size of muse straight away.   Theres also some in those blocks on sale on resale sites
    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.
